Polite to the extreme sometimes, he actually doesn't have the best impression of you and will try to answer a question with short quick responses like "Maybe." "I guess." "Probably."
He seems like he's friendly with everyone, but in reality he only has a few close friends. He's actually pretty hard to befriend because he's just a bit judgmental (Even if he isn't aware of that) and sometimes thinks like a person that's older than he really is. (ex: Should I really hang out with this person they don't seem like the best influence...") The people he ends up hanging around with is probably his family as he is the closest with them and he cares deeply about.
Though once you get to know him he'll try to respond to you in a more truthful way and he's actually pretty energetic and cheerful, happy-go-lucky kind of person. Though he always tries to follow within the rules of course. Wouldn't want to get in any kind of mess right?
A short person, he enjoys playing sports and outdoor activities in his free time, his favorite is soccer/football which is also his best strength in the sports category. José will be willing to play any kind of sport though he is one of the worst people when it comes to winter sports. (Like hockey, skating.... etc.) He spends most of his time outside and enjoys summers, not very fond of winters, though.
José doesn't have much of a fashion sense and just likes to wear what suits the occasion the most or whatever he finds in his closet. But when it comes to sport practices/ game he WILL make sure he has everything he need for the practice/ game and tend to run in panic around the house looking for something he is missing.
Most people don't notice, unless they are family of course, but he likes listening and dancing to loud music and likes going to big parties. It is that one side of him that most people don't see in him.
When people notice that he's short he doesn't mind them saying so, but on the inside he always wondered why he is so short.
✄ --- Relations ---
Portugal/Caterina: He finds Catarina a friendly person, he likes to say a casual "Hello." to her in the morning. He usually only has a small conversation with her but he appreciates everything she does for the mall dwellers.
Columbia/Carmen: José thinks that her personality is a bit too much for him sometimes but he deals with it anyways because he likes the energetic side of Carmen and thinks she is actually pretty "cool."
Cuba/Carlos: A brotherly type of figure to him, he enjoys playing sports with him and hanging around with him because he finds that they agree on most topics and have pleasant conversations together.
Ecuador/Manuel: He thinks Manuel is possibly the only "calm" person around here. He admires how he is so cool in the most dense situations and how he can deal with all the bickering that happens with his siblings. José doesn't talk him so much but he is considering becoming friends with him.
Venezula/Elisa: Most of the information he knows about her is from Carmen or any other mall dwellers. Though He occasionally makes a small conversation with her in the morning when he's drinking coffee in the morning. But he finds that she is calm like her brother Manuel, though he still isn't exactly sure on what she's like.
Nicarugua: He/She is one of the only people that José would try to avoid completely. Though it's kind of hard to miss him/her since he is related to him/her. He find him/her a bit annoying and is probably going to bug him when they are together. Though they don't get along, they are siblings after all and of course José actually cares about him/her on the inside. It's kind of like a love-hate sibling connection that they share.
